This collection was curated from our archive to create a large scale picture of the Southern College integration efforts of the 1960s. It contains photos of the following integrationists

Charlayne Hunter (University of Georgia)
Harvey Gantt (Clemson)
Cleve McDowell (University of Mississippi)
Harold A. Franklin (Auburn)
Also included is a photo Richard Peterson, an African American student body president at the mostly white Oregon College of Education, and a letter of injunction ordering Ms. Malone and Mr. Hood's integration into the U of A.
Most images are in excellent condition given their age, though some have creases and small tears in borders. Many also bear editorial markings common on press photos.
