CORE Civil Rights Collection (1963-1966) (4 vintage prints)

CORE Civil Rights Collection (1963-1966) (4 vintage prints)

A collection of 4 vintage press photos showing the activities of the civil rights group Congress for Racial Equality (CORE) in the 1960s. This collection does a good job showcasing the group: featuring a Los Angeles protest image, a San Francisco Food Bank image, and two images of the group's leaders: James Farmer and Floyd McKissick.

Three prints 8x10", one (McKissick leading rally in Soldier Field, Chicago), has had the copy evenly torn off to make it 6.25x10".

Prints are in good to excellent condition.
