A collection of four beautiful color prints made by Underwood & Underwood of the 1939 World's Fair in New York, complete with their containing folder.
These four prints are wonderful examples of early color photography made by Underwood and Underwood, one of the most well-respected photo publishing agencies of the time. Thea striking saturation of the architecture featured at the fair make for beautiful pieces of art.
Includes images of the Lagoon of Nations, Constitution Mall, and Court of States.
Prints are on 5x7" paper and in excellent condition. They are mounted to 9x10.5" matting which is in good condition, though does have some discoloration. The containing folder is in ok condition, with a 1" tear in the binding.
