Liliane Montevecchi | Marc Raboy (oversize)
A vintage oversize (11x14") print of Liliane Monteveccchi made during the production of On the Boulevard, bearing the stamp of Marc Raboy.
Raboy had this to say about the shoot: "During the year 1982 I was photographing the "Ladies" of the Broadway hit NINE. Each one was dynamic and exciting, but there is one that I will never forget - EVER! She is the great chanteuse, actress, and for many years the star of the Folies Bergère in Paris. The magnificent Liliane Montevecchi. She won the Tony Award that year for Best Supporting Actress in a musical, stopping the show nightly eight times a week.
We worked together twice. The first time for NINE, and then she returned for some new publicity photos for her cabaret act.
When I'm asked who were the easiest subjects that I ever got to work with, Liliane is always at the top of the list. She's perfection in front of a camera, and as I clicked away hundreds of shots, there wasn't one that was quite like another. Also, another star who was funny as hell.
Here's a true legend - Look at those eyes! They'll eat you alive."
Print is in good condition, with some wear and tear to whit border, and just a few small crimps barely noticeable in printed area.
