An extensive collection displaying former first lady Mrs. Lou Henry Hoover performing official functions as well as more quotidian activities.
Includes a very interesting portrait of Mrs. Hoover as she was sworn in as the first Vice-president of the Girl Scouts, which bears the photographer stamp of Florence Vandamm.
Prints are mostly 8x10" though a handful are smaller and cuts. Many show signs of their age, and bear editorial markings visible in scans.
