A large collection of the aftermath of aviation accidents in Washington state, including civilian and military aircrafts. There are many examples of both, showing survivors, rescue work, wreckage, and aerial views of crash sites. This collection does an incredible job at chronicling many of these events that devastated the area in the middle 20th century.
While most of these are press prints, there are several very crisp, beautiful prints of the disasters.
Most prints are on 8x10" paper, but some are slightly smaller. Prints are in good to excellent condition for their age, with many bearing edge wear and editorial marks visible in scans.
